A sad day in the 'burgh...famed Steelers' broadcaster and more importantly, creator of The Terrible Towel, Myron Cope passed away in Pittsburgh last night at the age of 79. Throw a double yoi out there and wave your towel!

I happened to be in the "burg" @ the time. On that Friday, Pittsburgh had the most incredible tribute, complete with terrible towels & the infamous "wave"
I took my Terrible Towel to the Bahamas with me to pay my respects for Myron...I am still deathly ill, but proud to say that the Steelers are represented in Freeport!!!
I'm a girl gone sports. Being raised in Pittsburgh will do that to you. I'm now another displaced 'burgher living in the south pretending I never left and spewing Steelers propaganda anytime I can. Unfortunately football season has not yet been extended to a full year so I have other interests such as books, TV, movies and of course celebrity gossip...long live TMZ!
